JEONJU CITY

Jeonju city council was composed its first council in 1952 and in July 2006 the 8th has been formed. City council representing citizens is authorized to audit, inspect for the administration work as a control function for city administration for checking corruption or unreasonable treatment and determining the matters of managing other city administration, like policies and legislature, burden of citizens.

And has the function that citizen can demonstrate their dissatisfaction or hope for the execution of city policies and handling of their petition upon their request of its correction.

The 8th Jeonju city council runs five constant committees (council managing committee, administration committee, social welfare committee, culture economy committee, city constructing committee) and is working with sincere attitude always checking the scenes for citizens and doing its best as a representing institute for residents to make credible council, productive council.
