A table full of various food, Jeonju Hanjeongsik (Korean Table d’hote)

On the table of Jeonju Hanjeongsik, there are ingredients from everywhere: mountains, sea, rivers and field. The fresh, rich seafood from western sea, grains produced in fertile plain, and variety of wild vegetables collected in mountainous areas have been good ingredients for Jeonju cuisine from ancient times.

Therefore, it turned into a food culture called 'Jeonju Hanjeongsik', with almost 30 kinds of side dishes including soup, stew, seasoned vegetable, salted fish, etc.

Jeonju Han-jeongsik satisfies the five senses of gourmets, providing not only the richness of food but also the kindness of people. Especially, ‘the 10 tastes of Jeonju(全州十味)’ consisting the table is the treasure of traditional food culture in this area. First, you will be surprised by the table setting, then the taste, and weeping for longing when leaving the place. The taste and class of the Jeonju Han-jeongsik is definitely different from other cities’ Hanjeongsik.
